Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about your favorite wool slippers.

What materials are used in Glerups footwear?

Glerups are crafted from 100% pure, natural wool from sheep in Denmark and New Zealand. Our soles are made from either soft vegetable-tanned calfskin or slip-resistant natural rubber.

How do I choose the correct size?

We recommend choosing your standard European size. Glerups should fit snugly at first as the wool will slightly compress and mold to the unique shape of your feet after a few days of wear.

Can I wash my Glerups in a washing machine?

Wool is self-cleaning, but if a deep clean is necessary, you can hand wash them in lukewarm water with wool detergent. Avoid machine washing or tumble drying, as this can cause the wool to shrink or felt excessively.

Why are my slippers shedding small fibers?

Shedding is a natural process for high-quality wool felt. During the first few weeks of wear, the coarsest wool fibers work their way out of the felt. Simply remove the excess fibers and they will eventually stop shedding.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return window for all unworn items in their original packaging. Please ensure the felt and soles show no signs of outdoor use to qualify for a full refund.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we ship to most countries worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by location and will be calculated at checkout based on your specific region.
